Australian Kangaroo 1/10 oz Gold 2020
The Australian Kangaroo, Australia's most famous bullion coin made from the highest grade of gold. This gold coin is produced by Perth Mint, the oldest existing mint in Australia. The coin, with a purity of Au 9999 and a weight of 1/10th of an ounce, is distinguished by a distinctive reverse design featuring Australia's national symbol, the kangaroo. The kangaroo is the symbol of Australia and appears on the state coat of arms. The name kangaroo (from kangaroo) given by English settlers comes from the Aboriginal word 'gungurru', which the natives used to describe the grey kangaroo. Kangaroos can move at extraordinary speeds, close to 50 km/h, and overcome obstacles up to 3 metres high and as much as 12 metres long. The obverse of the gold coin invariably depicts a portrait of the Queen of Great Britain, Elizabeth II, together with her name, the name of the issuing country and the coin's denomination. The reverse of the bullion coin depicts the eponymous kangaroo. The image of the kangaroo is surrounded by the inscription "Australian Kangaroo" and information about the coin's year, its weight and the purity of the bullion from which it was made.SINGLE PACKS ARE SHIPPED IN CIRCULATED PLASTIC CAPSELS.Do you need help?
