Australian Emu 1 oz Gold 2021 MS 70 NGC First Day of Issue

The 2021 edition depicts a female emu, accompanied by her young, resting at a watering hole among Australian wildlife. As with previous coins in the series, this one was created by the renowned The Perth Mint, and Monique Reeves is responsible for the reverse design this year.
The gold coin, Australian Emu 2021, was made of the highest quality 999.9 bullion, weighing one troy ounce. It was minted in a limited edition of only 5,000 pieces. Obverse Australian Emu features an image of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark. The edge of the coin bears the inscription: "Elizabeth II Australia" and the face value of the coin.
Reverse depicts a female emu accompanied by a baby emu, resting at a watering hole against the backdrop of Australia's characteristic wilderness. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "Australian Emu" and the date of issue, weight and mintage of the gold coin.
