The coin was struck in pure Ag.999 sterling silver with a matt finish, a weight of 1 troy ounce and a diameter of 40 mm. The mintage of the product is 30,000 pieces, all of which are supplied in a case together with a certificate of authenticity. The Averse features an image of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom along with information on the date of issue, face value, issuing country and the initials of designer Jody Clark .
The reverse features an image of lead guitarist Angus Young, a map of Australia and other associated elements with AC/DC. The reverse was designed by Stevan Stojanovic.
