The products were struck in 22-carat gold, Au.916.7 and weigh 7,988 grams. The 1922 Sovereign has a diameter of 22.05 mm, while the 2022 coin has a diameter of 22.55 mm. Additionally, the product is guaranteed by the Australian Government and is full legal tender in the country. The coins are situated in their original packaging with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. The mintage of the set is 50 pieces. The Averse of the gold Sovereign depicts a portrait of King George V. The Rewers shows the slaying of the dragon by St George and the year the coin was struck. The coin was designed by Sir E. B. Mackennal.The obverse of the gold coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA" and information about the face value and the year of the coin.Rewers depict the crown, the number 70 and the inscription "AUSTRALIA SOVEREIGN", "PERTH MINT".
