100th Anniversary of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw 2004
The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw is a prestigious and the oldest Polish higher education institution of art. To honour the centenary of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Mint of Warsaw created a silver coin with a purity of 925 and a weight of 14.14g.The obverse depicts an illustration of an eagle representing the emblem of the Republic of Poland against the background of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Additionally, on the obverse there is information on the year and nominal value of the coin as well as the inscription RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA. The reverse depicts designs as well as machines for the production of works of art. In the foreground one can see an easel with the colourful inscription ASP. While at the top there is the inscription 100-LECYE OF THE ACADEMY OF BEAUTIFUL ART IN WARSAW. Do you need help?
