Silver Coin Silver Maple Leaf Colorized 1 oz Silver 2026 Reverse Proof Ultra High Relief
The 2026 Silver Maple Leaf Colorized Silver Coin 1 oz Silver Reverse Proof Ultra High Relief is an exceptional edition of one of the most recognizable Canadian collector coins, issued by the Royal Canadian Mint. The coin was struck from 1 ounce of .9999 fine silver in Reverse Proof quality, using Ultra High Relief technology and the innovative Vivid Toning Effect, which appears for the first time on a Royal Canadian Mint coin.
The Vivid Toning Effect gives the maple leaf remarkably realistic shades of yellow, orange, and red, reminiscent of the colors of the Canadian autumn. A transparent, metallic foil-like layer allows light to pass through and reflect off the polished relief, creating an effect of intense, multicolored brilliance. In addition, the coin’s background is decorated with a radiant pattern inspired by maple leaves, enhancing the sense of depth and luminosity of the entire composition.
The coin was struck from 1 ounce of .9999 fine silver, has a diameter of 36.15 mm, a face value of 20 Canadian dollars, and a Reverse Proof finish. The relief reaches a height of up to 1.4 mm, giving the design exceptional dimensionality. The worldwide mintage is limited to 11,000 pieces.
Obverse: features the official effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, along with the face value and year of issue.
Reverse: designed by Walter Ott, showcases the iconic maple leaf struck in Ultra High Relief. Thanks to the Vivid Toning Effect, the motif captivates with intense autumn colors and a subtle inner glow. The design is completed by a radiant background pattern that reflects light beautifully and emphasizes the three-dimensional character of the composition.
