Tuvalu : Baby Dragon colorée 1/2 once d'argent 2024 Proof
Tuvalu: Baby Dragon Colored 1/2 oz Silver 2024 Proof is an interesting product commemorating the “Year of the Dragon.” The year 2024 belongs to the dragon, which in Chinese mythology is a majestic beast inhabiting rivers, lakes, oceans, and wandering the sky. The Chinese zodiac sign of the dragon falls in the years: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024. The coin refers to the 12 animals that represent the Chinese lunar calendar. The silver coin was minted in Ag.9999 silver, weighing 1/2 troy ounce, in proof standard. An important feature is the limited mintage of only 7,150 coins. Each coin comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and original packaging. The obverse of the silver coin features the image of Queen Elizabeth II. The whole is surrounded by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “TUVALU,” and information about the face value, weight, and fineness. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The reverse shows a small colored dragon. The reverse also features the Chinese character for “dragon,” the inscription “YEAR OF THE DRAGON,” and the letter “P,” which is the mark of The Perth Mint. The reverse was designed by Natasha Muhl.Designer
