Treasures of Stanisław August – 50 zł August II the Strong is a silver coin depicting August II the Strong, who was King of Poland from 1697 to 1706 and from 1709 to 1733. The coin is the 21st in the Treasures of Stanisław August series. The series was first minted in 2013 and is a reproduction of an 18th-century medal collection. The original was commissioned by Stanisław August Poniatowski and depicts 23 monarchs who once sat on the Polish throne. It is worth noting that the contemporary version of Stanisław August's Treasures depicts 24 monarchs – 23 from the original royal collection and an additional portrait of Stanisław August. The silver August II the Strong coin was minted in 2022 in Ag.999 silver, weighing 62.2 grams and with a diameter of 45 mm. This collector's item has a strictly limited mintage of only 6,000 pieces. What is more, the coin is secured in a dedicated capsule and comes in a wooden case with a certificate of authenticity. Each coin comes with a folder. On the obverse, in a semicircle from left to right, there is the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA” and “50 ZŁ”. At the bottom of the image of the eagle, established as the emblem of the Republic of Poland, there is the date of issue. Below the image of the eagle, on the right-hand side, there is the mint mark. In the center, on a separate plane, there is an inscription. On the reverse side, there is a stylized image of the bust of Augustus II the Strong. On the reverse side, there is the inscription “AUGUSTUS II ELECTOR SAXONIAE.”Designer
