The Rough-Toothed Dolphin 1 oz Silver 2023 is the fifth coin in the captivating Australian Dolphin series. The entire series depicts the most important and largest species of dolphins inhabiting the entire globe. The 2023 coin features the long-beaked dolphin, also known as the long-beaked stenella, which is found worldwide in tropical and warmer temperate waters. The silver coin was minted by the Royal Australian Mint in Ag.999 silver, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 40 mm in diameter. The coin stands out not only for its stunning reverse image, but also for the fact that it was produced in a limited mintage of only 25,000 pieces. This unique product is packaged in a protective capsule. The obverse features an image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown, with the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II”. “AUSTRALIA” along with information about the year of minting and the face value of the coin.
