The coin depicts a buffalo. The animals are mainly herbivores. The coins are minted from pure Ag.999 bullion, weigh 1 troy ounce, have a diameter of 38.73 mm, and are proof quality. The coins were produced by the renowned South Africa Mint and are legal tender in the country of issue. The entire series is guaranteed by the South African government as to the legality, purity, and origin of the metal. The set has a mintage of only 1,000 pieces and comes in individual, original packaging.
