The 25th Anniversary £2 Copper-Nickel 2022 is an interesting product commemorating the 25th anniversary of the minting of the £2 coin. It is a popular numismatic item in the United Kingdom, which was first minted in 1997 and features over 50 unique designs referring to, among other things, significant scientific, technological, sporting, and literary achievements. The coin is minted from a copper-nickel alloy, weighs 12 grams, and has a diameter of 28.40 mm. The mintage is unlimited. The coin features a special technology whereby the number “25” appears when it is moved. In addition, this unusual coin was produced by The Royal Mint. The coin is guaranteed by the UK government as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal, and is legal tender in the country of issue. The obverse shows the image of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination and year, designed by Jody Clark. The reverse depicts the iconic 2 pound coin, known as the “Technology” coin, and the inscriptions “TWO POUNDS,” “25,” and “1997.” Bruce Rushin is responsible for the design of the reverse.Designer
