Vienna Philharmonic 1 oz Silver 2012
The 2012 Silver Vienna Philharmonic is the next installment in the iconic investment series. It is a silver coin that is produced from pure fine silver in a weight of one troy ounce. There is also the first investment coin, which was initially issued in Euro currency.
The Vienna Philharmonic has been produced by the Austrian Mint since 2008. Each coin in the silver series is a full-fledged means of payment, guaranteed by the Austrian government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal. It is also worth noting that the design of the Austrian coins, designed by Thomas Pesendorfer, was created using computer graphics and then transferred directly to the coins.
Obverse adorns the legendary organ of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, on the obverse there is information that tells you the face value, weight, bullion sample and the year the coin was minted.
Reverse introduces the eight iconic instruments of the Austrian orchestra: four violins, cello, horn, bassoon and harp.
