The Silver Coin Valkyries: Ostara 1 oz Silver 2023 is the second piece in the Valkyries series. These coins refer to goddesses and warrior women. In Norse mythology, the Valkyries were daughters of Odin. Their most important duty was to carry the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla. Ostara, the goddess of life's victory over death, symbolizes spring awakening and blossoming.

The silver coin is struck from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing one troy ounce, with a diameter of 38.61 mm. The mintage is limited to 25,000 pieces. It was produced by Germania Mint, with the design created by Mateusz Frąckowiak.

Obverse features the characteristic Germania Mint double-headed eagle, a howling deer, and Germanic runes. The obverse also includes the inscription "GERMANIA" along with details on weight, purity, the year of mintage, and the nominal value.

Reverse of the silver coin depicts Ostara accompanied by a deer and a hare. The goddess is dressed in a flowing white gown and a floral garland. The reverse also features the inscription "OSTARA".
