The Silver Coin Valkyries: Hildegard 1 oz Silver 2022 is the first piece in the Valkyries series. These coins refer to goddesses and warrior women. In Norse mythology, the Valkyries were daughters of Odin. Their most important duty was to carry the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla.

The silver coin is struck from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing one troy ounce, with a diameter of 38.61 mm. The mintage is limited to 25,000 pieces. It was produced by Germania Mint, with the design created by Mateusz Frąckowiak.

Obverse features the characteristic Germania Mint double-headed eagle, a howling wolf, and Germanic runes. The obverse also includes the inscription "GERMANIA" along with details on weight, purity, the year of mintage, and the nominal value.

Reverse of the silver coin depicts a Valkyrie dressed in armor featuring the Algiz rune. The warrior holds a spear and a shield with an image of the wolf Fenrir. A wolf is also depicted beside the Valkyrie.
