The gold collector coin with the image of a lancer on horseback is the culmination of the "History of Polish Cavalry" series produced by the National Bank of Poland. The series started with a coin minted in 2006 with an image of a Piast horseman. Other coins in the series are: Knight heavy-armed XV century, Hussar XVI - XVII century. Cavalryman of the Guard of Emperor Napoleon I and Lancer of the Second Republic. The gold coin with the image of a lancer has a weight of 15.50 grams and a gold purity of 900. Its uniqueness is emphasised by its mirror finish and limited edition of 5,000 pieces. The entire piece, together with a certificate of authenticity, is housed in an elegant case. The Averse is decorated with the image of the eagle established for the emblem of the Republic of Poland. Below it is a lancer's sabre with the inscription "Honour and Homeland" and a fragment of a lance.
