The product has been struck in pure Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing 2 troy ounces and measuring 45.6mm in diameter. The mintage of the coins is 3,000 pieces. Each piece features an antiqued finish.
Moreover, each coin has been enhanced with a rotating gold-plated insert. Furthermore, the individual pieces come in an elegant packaging with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. The Averse of the silver coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" , "TUVALU" and information on the weight, minting date, face value, year and proof of the coin. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Rewers includes a revolving, gilded gift sock. In addition, there is a wreath, garlands decorated with colourful baubles and ribbons, and sleeping animals and a treat for Father Christmas on his busiest night of the year, designed by Jennifer McKenna. The reverse also features The Perth Mint's mint mark, the 'P'.
