They are four anthropomorphic turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, who were mutated due to exposure to a toxic substance and, under the influence of the ninjutsu art taught to them by a rat named Raphael, became incredibly skilled warriors.

This unique 2025 edition is a coin struck from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce, in proof standard, and with a limited mintage of 5,000 pieces. The product was produced by the oldest Australian mint, the Perth Mint, on behalf of the country of Tuvalu, which means that the guarantee of the coin is provided by the government of Tuvalu.
