Tuvalu: Gods of Olympus - Aphrodite 1 oz Silver 2022
The Gods of Olympus series is a notable offering from renowned precious metals producer The Perth Mint. The Gods of Olympus collection was first made public in 2014 and sold out immediately. In 2020, there is a re-issue of this remarkable collection and this time, in addition to the coins having an 'Antiqued Finish', the manufacturer has also prepared an investment - bullion version. The silver bullion coin depicting Aphrodite is a product made of pure Ag.9999 bullion, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 40.9 mm. The Aphrodite 2022 coin is the sixth coin in the Gods of Olympus series. This coin is guaranteed by the Government of Tuvalu and is a fully fledged means of payment within the country. Importantly, it is a silver piece and has a strictly limited mintage of 13 500 pieces. It is therefore worth taking an interest in this coin, as well as the entire series. The Averse of the silver coin shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the face value, weight, mintage and date of issue. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley. The Rewers shows the figure of seated Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty with flowing hair on Aphrodite's Rock beach. Surrounding Aphrodite are dolphins leaping out of the water and a swan. Aphrodite is depicted with a mirror in her left hand and with a seated dove on the fingers of her right hand. In addition, the reverse features the inscription 'APHRODITE' and the mint mark in the form of the letter 'P'.Do you need help?
