The design was inspired by the first-ever wheel of its kind, showcased in 1893 at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Obverse: The upper part shows the profile of His Majesty King Charles III. In the centre is a realistic rear view of the Ferris Wheel, forming an integral part of the rotating mechanism. The rim contains inscriptions of the face value (2 Tuvalu dollars), issuing country (Tuvalu), weight (2 oz), and silver purity (99.99%).

Reverse: Depicts a fairytale-like, coloured night carnival scene. Among the many details are colourful balloons, carousels, swings, children, tents, and fireworks. The scene is completed with a starry sky and light garlands. The central feature is the rotating Ferris Wheel with Swarovski crystals, impressing with its detail and craftsmanship. The reverse also includes The Perth Mint's mintmark – the letter "P".
