Tuvalu product: Chinese Astrological - Year of the Tiger 1/5 ounce Gold 2022 Proof is a collector's coin that could be the perfect gift for anyone born in the Year of the Tiger, i.e. 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 and 2010 and 2022. The unique 2022 coin features a charming, caricatured image of the titular animal and, importantly, was struck with meticulous attention to detail in proof (mirror stamp) standard. The product comes from the Chinese Astrological series. The Little Tiger 2022 was produced in pure Au.9999 gold, weighing 1/5 troy ounce and measuring 22.6 mm in diameter. The respected Australian mint, The Perth Mint, is responsible for the production of the coin. In addition, the aforementioned tiger comes in a presentation box along with a certificate of authenticity. The Averse of the gold coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "QUEEN ELIZABETH II", "TUVALU". The obverse also features information about the issuing country and the year of mintage. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.
Rewers depicts a caricature, a small tiger and information about the weight, purity of the bullion and the face value of the currency.
