Tuvalu: Bogowie Olimpu - Ares 1 uncja Srebra 2023 Antiqued Coin
The Gods of Olympus series is a notable offering from renowned precious metals producer The Perth Mint. The Gods of Olympus collection was first publicised in 2014 and sold out immediately. In 2020, there is a re-issue of this remarkable collection and this time, in addition to the coins having an 'Antiqued Finish', the manufacturer has also prepared an investment - bullion version. The silver bullion coin depicting Ares is a product made of pure Ag.9999 bullion, weighing one troy ounce and 40.9 mm in diameter, in an antiqued version. The 2023 coin is the seventh coin in the Gods of Olympus series. The coin is guaranteed by the Government of Tuvalu and is a full-fledged means of payment within the country. Importantly, it is a silver piece and has a strictly limited mintage of 1 500 pieces. It is therefore worth taking an interest in this coin, as well as the entire series.
The Averse of the silver coin shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the face value, weight, mintage and date of issue. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The Rewers shows the figure of Ares on the battlefield holding a spear and shield as he crushes a helmet, designed by Jennifer McKenna. In addition, the reverse bears the inscription 'ARES' and a mint mark in the form of the letter 'P'.
