The Tuvalu: Alicanto colored, gilded 2 oz Silver 2024 Antiqued Coin, created by the Australian mint The Perth Mint, is a unique piece inspired by the mystical bird from Chilean folklore, the Alicanto, which, according to legend, roams the rocky landscapes of the Atacama Desert, feeding on precious minerals like gold and silver. The feathers of the Alicanto illuminate the night with a silvery or golden glow, guiding treasure seekers to hidden deposits, but only for those who can follow it unnoticed.

The coin is made of pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing 2 troy ounces and measuring 45.6 mm in diameter. Its antiqued finish and limited mintage of 2,500 pieces make it an extraordinary collectible. Each product is enhanced with golden accents and includes inserts containing authentic gold and silver particles suspended in clear liquid, encased in a Perspex dome.

The obverse features a portrait of King Charles III, designed by Jody Clark, surrounded by information regarding the year of issue (2024), nominal value, and issuing country.
