The Fascinating Universe: Black Hole coloured 2/3 ounce Silver 2022 Proof coin is a unique coin that was created for enthusiasts of astronomy and amazing atmospheric phenomena. The interpretation of a black hole was first published in 1958 by David Finkelstein. Subsequently, the black hole was named Cygnus X-1 in 1971. The coin is the second coin in the Fascinating Universe series. The first coin in 2021 was The Milky Way.The coin comes from the renowned Austrian Mint. The specimen was struck in Ag.925 sterling silver, weighing 2/3 of a troy ounce, in a mintage of 30,000 pieces, in proof standard. The product comes with its original individual packaging including a numbered certificate of authenticity. The 2022 silver coin has no minted weight or bullion proof. The design of the coin is the responsibility of Mag. Helmut Andexlinger.The obverse depicts a cone, which symbolises the curvature of space-time. On the obverse, there is also the inscription "15 M☉", "CYGNUS- X1", "SINGULARITAT", "EREIGNISHORIZONT" and the year of issue, the denomination and "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH".Rewers depict a coloured spiral forming a funnel into a black hole and the inscription "SCHWARZES LOCH".Packaging for the product
