The Royal Tudor Beasts: The Bull of Clarence Cupro-Nickel 2023
The entire series will consist of 10 coins showing the likenesses of the animals - Seymour Panther, The Lion of England, The Bull of Clarence, The Tudor Dragon, The Greyhound of Richmond, The Royal Dragon, The Yale of Beaufort, The Seymour Unicorn, The Queen's Panther and The Queen's Lion.
The coin is struck in copper-nickel alloy, weighing 28.28 grams and measuring 38.61 mm in diameter. In addition, this unusual piece was produced by The Royal Mint and features individual, original packaging. The Overt of the coins shows the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and the denomination and year, as designed by Martin Jennings. The Rewers depict one of the beasts of the Tudor Kingdom - The Bull of Clarence - and the inscription "THE BULL OF CLARENCE" "2023". The reverse was designed by David Lawrence.
