The Royal Mint Bar - Queen’s Beasts 1 oz Silver is a unique investment product from the renowned The Royal Mint. The bar features ten heraldic creatures symbolizing the royal heritage of Elizabeth II – mother of His Majesty King Charles III.

In 1953, ten sculptures of The Queen’s Beasts guarded Westminster Abbey during Elizabeth II’s coronation. The design is inspired by the sculptures adorning the entrance to Hampton Court Palace, representing the power of Henry VIII and the Tudor dynasty. The modern version of these legendary beasts was designed by Jody Clark and The Royal Mint Design Team.

The bar is minted from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 35 x 35 mm. Moreover, this silver product has a limited mintage of 70,000 pieces.

Reverse of the bar presents the first official portrait of young Elizabeth II, designed by Mary Gillick, along with all ten heraldic beasts surrounding the Tudor Crown.
