The 2023 product has been produced from pure Au.9999 gold, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32.69mm in diameter. It is a product from the renowned British precious metals producer, The Royal Mint. It is worth mentioning that the Royal Coats of Arms gold coin is guaranteed by the UK government and is a legal tender in the country of the issuer.

On the obverse of the coin is immortalised a portrait of King Charles III of Great Britain, designed by Martin Jennings. II. One can also find information on the face value of the coin. The Rewers shows an illustration of a modified coat of arms of Great Britain, designed by the talented designer Timothy Noad. The aforementioned coat of arms features an image of an English lion and a Scottish unicorn, both of which guard the Army Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Interestingly, the inspiration for the contemporary image of the gold coin was the symbolic design of The Royal Arms by Eric Sewell. The reverse also features information on weight, bullion purity and date of issue.
