The 75th Birthday of HRH The Princess Royal £5 Cupro-Nickel 2025 is a special collector coin issued to celebrate the 75th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Anne. Since reaching adulthood, Princess Anne has remained an active and dedicated member of the British royal family, known for her strong commitment to charitable causes, her passion for sport, and her many years of public service. This coin marks the first official commemoration of this remarkable figure by The Royal Mint.

The coin is struck from cupro-nickel, weighs 28.28 grams and has a diameter of 38.61 mm. The mintage is unlimited. It is legal tender in the United Kingdom and is presented in original packaging by The Royal Mint.

Obverse features a portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. Around the portrait are the inscriptions: “CHARLES III”, “D.G.REX.F.D.”, the year of issue and face value.

Reverse shows the official coat of arms of Princess Anne alongside her portrait by John Swannell. The design is completed with the inscriptions: “THE PRINCESS ROYAL”, “CELEBRATING 75 YEARS” and “DUTY AND DEVOTION”. The reverse was created by Thomas T. Docherty and personally approved by Princess Anne.
