This gold coin is minted from the highest purity bullion (9999) in a limited mintage of 5,000 pieces. This collector's value is housed in a protective cap. The reverse features an image of an adult swan with its young, with a second adult visible in the background. The inscription "The Australian Swan", weight and trial are stamped along the rim of the reverse.The obverse of the gold coin depicts an image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain along with the year, denomination and country of minting.
