The limited edition collector coin featuring the Swan is a one ounce gold specimen. It is the first coin in the Australian Swan series, which is issued by Australia's oldest mint, Perth Mint. This gold coin is minted from the highest purity bullion (9999), in a limited mintage of 5,000,000 pieces. This collector's value is housed in a protective cap. The reverse features an image of an adult swan in a majestic pose. The inscription "The Australian Swan", weight and trial are engraved along the rim of the reverse. The design was executed by Jennifer McKenna. The obverse of the gold coin depicts an image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain along with the year, denomination and country of minting.
