Stranger Things - The Upside Down colored 1 oz Silver 2026 Proof
Stranger Things - The Upside Down Coloured 1 oz Silver 2026 Proof is a unique collector’s coin struck from 1 oz of pure .9999 silver, dedicated to one of Netflix’s most popular productions – the Stranger Things series. Created by the Duffer Brothers, it debuted in July 2016 and quickly became a global phenomenon, winning over 70 awards worldwide, including Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Award, and receiving more than 230 nominations. Set against a backdrop of 80s nostalgia, the series not only revived pop culture from that era but also brought renewed fame to many elements, including Kate Bush’s track “Running Up That Hill,” which entered the Billboard Hot 100 top ten after 38 years.
The coloured reverse of the coin depicts the mysterious world of Hawkins. The upper part shows Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven on an adventurous bike ride, while the lower part reveals the dark Upside Down with Will and the menacing Demogorgon. The design is complemented by the inscription “ON NOV 6, 1983 THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. FOREVER.”, the “STRANGER THINGS” logo, and the Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark.
Obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Jody Clark, together with inscriptions of the coin’s weight, silver fineness, monetary denomination, and the 2026 year-date.
Reverse presents the series’ characters – Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven in the upper part, and the eerie Upside Down with Will and the Demogorgon below, along with the inscription, series logo, and mintmark “P”.
