St Helena: Napoleon Bees 'N' Design 1 oz Gold 2021 Proof is a coin paying tribute to the 200th anniversary of Napoleon's death. Bonaparte built an empire across Europe before being exiled to the island of St Helena, a tranquil island then owned by the East India Company, after his defeat at Waterloo in 1815. He spent the last years of his life on St Helena until his death in 1821.

This coin was made of pure Au.9999 gold, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32 mm in diameter. The respected precious metals producer The East India Company is responsible for its issuance. In addition, each silver coin in the series is legal tender in Saint Helena. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information on weight, bullion proof, date of issue and denomination. The reverse features Napoleon's monogram ("N"), which is surrounded by a laurel wreath with a crown at the top, the inscription" NAPOLEON BONAPARTE 1769- 1821"
