The Averse of the silver coin is decorated with an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "St. Helena" and "Queen Elizabeth II".The obverse also contains information about the face value and the year of mintage of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark. The Rewers of the coin shows a dragon and a geographical visualisation of the territory of Japan.
