The coin was struck in pure Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38.60 mm in diameter. The mintage of the unique coin is 5,000 pieces. The German mint Bayerisches Hauptmünzamt is responsible for the production of the currency. The products are also available in gold, gold-plated silver and coloured silver. The obverse of the African Wildlife Leopard 2023 silver coin depicts the Somali coat of arms, which shows two leopards supporting a shield with a white star.
