The Australian Outback consists of vast, sparsely populated areas covering a significant portion of the continent. Harsh deserts, rocky mountains, dry riverbeds, and expansive savannas create a habitat for hundreds of endemic animal species. It is here that some of Australia’s most iconic wildlife can be found, including kangaroos, emus, dingoes, crocodiles, and wedge-tailed eagles.
The coin is struck from 1 ounce of .9999 fine silver, has a diameter of 40.90 mm, and a face value of 1 Australian dollar. Its worldwide mintage is limited to 5,000 pieces, underscoring its collectible character.
The obverse features the official effigy of King Charles III by Dan Thorne. The rim is decorated with stylized Australian flora motifs, along with information on the coin’s weight, silver purity, and face value.
