Silver Lunar Ounce Coin – Year of the Goat 1 oz Silver 2027 Proof is a collector’s issue from the acclaimed Lunar Ounce series, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. The coin was struck from 1 ounce of Ag 999 silver for the Republic of Rwanda and commemorates the Year of the Goat – the eighth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing gentleness, harmony, creativity, and inner peace.

The Chinese lunar calendar is based on a twelve-year cycle in which each year is represented by a different animal. People born in the Year of the Goat are considered kind, patient, and sensitive, as well as blessed with an artistic soul and a love of beauty. Motifs inspired by the Chinese zodiac have enjoyed great popularity for years among both collectors and investors around the world.

The coin was struck from 1 ounce of Ag 999 silver, has a diameter of 40 mm, a face value of 50 Rwandan francs (FRW), and a Proof finish. The mintage is limited to 1,000 pieces.

Obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Rwanda along with the coin’s face value.
