Silver Lunar Ounce Coin – Year of the Goat 1 oz Silver 2027 is another issue in the highly regarded Lunar Ounce series, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. The coin was struck from 1 ounce of .999 fine silver for the Republic of Rwanda and commemorates the Year of the Goat – the eighth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing gentleness, harmony, creativity, and inner peace.
The Chinese lunar calendar is based on a twelve-year cycle in which each year is represented by a different animal. People born in the Year of the Goat are considered kind, patient, and sensitive, as well as gifted with an artistic soul and a love of beauty.
