Silver Lunar Ounce Coin – Year of the Goat 1/12 oz Silver 2027 is another issue in the acclaimed Lunar Ounce series, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. The coin was struck from 1/12 oz of Ag 999 silver for the Republic of Rwanda and commemorates the Year of the Goat – the eighth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing gentleness, harmony, creativity, and inner peace.
The Chinese lunar calendar is based on a twelve-year cycle, with each year represented by a different animal. People born in the Year of the Goat are considered kind, patient, and sensitive, as well as gifted with an artistic soul and a love of beauty. Motifs inspired by the Chinese zodiac have enjoyed great popularity for years among both collectors and investors around the world.
The coin was struck from 1/12 oz of Ag 999 silver, has a diameter of 25 mm, and a face value of 10 Rwandan francs (FRW). The piece was produced in Brilliant Uncirculated minting standard.
Obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Rwanda along with the coin’s face value.
Reverse is decorated with an artistic depiction of the Goat – the patron of the year 2027 according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
