Silver Lunar Ounce Coin – Year of the Goat 1/12 oz Silver 2027 is another issue in the acclaimed Lunar Ounce series, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. The coin was struck from 1/12 oz of Ag 999 silver for the Republic of Rwanda and commemorates the Year of the Goat – the eighth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing gentleness, harmony, creativity, and inner peace.

The Chinese lunar calendar is based on a twelve-year cycle, with each year represented by a different animal. People born in the Year of the Goat are considered kind, patient, and sensitive, as well as gifted with an artistic soul and a love of beauty.
