The Millennium of the Coronation of Bolesław the Brave 100 zł Silver 2025 Matte Proof is an exceptionally original and prestigious issue from the National Bank of Poland, impressive not only in form but also in its rich historical message.

The coin is made from the highest quality silver – Ag.999 – and has an impressive weight of 311 grams. Its unusual shape – a cuboid measuring 29 × 29 × 35.5 mm – makes it a true rarity in Polish numismatics.

It is entirely minted in matte proof standard, with exceptional attention to detail. One of the vertical sides features a portrait of Bolesław the Brave along with the inscription “INCLYTE DUX TIBI LAUS, STRENUE BOLESLAË”, referencing the historical context of his legacy.

The remaining three vertical sides of the coin depict scenes inspired by the Gniezno Doors:

• Scene XVI – The ransom of St. Adalbert's remains by Bolesław the Brave,
• Scene XVII – The transfer of St. Adalbert's body from Prussia to Gniezno,
• Scene – The entombment of St. Adalbert, in the presence of a bishop, duke, and acolytes, within a sacred space marked by an arcade and towers.

One of the coin’s bases features the face value – 100 zł – and the inscription “THE MILLENNIUM OF THE CORONATION OF BOLESŁAW THE BRAVE”.

The other base displays the image of the White Eagle from the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA” and the year of issue – 2025.
