The coin is dedicated to the Siberian Cat – one of the oldest natural cat breeds, originating from the harsh regions of Siberia. The piece was struck from 1 ounce of pure Ag 999 silver in Proof quality, and its selective coloring faithfully reflects the characteristic coat of this exceptional breed.

The Siberian Cat developed naturally, without human intervention, adapting to the demanding climatic conditions of Russia. Its dense, semi-long coat provides excellent protection against frost, while its strong build and well-developed hunting instincts make it an agile hunter. Despite its strength and independence, the Siberian Cat is valued for its gentle nature, sociability, and strong attachment to its owner.

The coin was issued on behalf of Niue and has a face value of 1 New Zealand dollar (NZD). It was made from 1 ounce of Ag 999 silver, has a diameter of 37 mm, and was struck in Proof quality. The piece is housed in a protective capsule and an elegant black case, making it an attractive offering for both coin collectors and cat lovers.
