Bridgerton Silver Coin - Benedict & Sophie Coloured 1/2 oz Silver 2026 Proof is a collectible issue inspired by the popular series “Bridgerton,” based on the bestselling novels by Julia Quinn. The coin was struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2 ounce of pure Ag 9999 silver and commemorates the story of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie – the protagonists of the fourth season of the series.

“Bridgerton” is a story of love, ambition, and the lives of London’s Regency-era aristocracy. The production gained international popularity thanks to its lavish scenery, distinctive characters, and modern approach to classic historical romances. The story of Benedict and Sophie draws on the Cinderella motif, portraying a romance that begins during a mysterious masquerade ball and must overcome social divisions and conventions.

The coin was struck in Proof quality from 1/2 ounce of Ag 9999 silver. Its diameter is 32.60 mm, its face value is 50 cents of Tuvalu, and the maximum mintage is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide.

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III designed by Jody Clark. The obverse also includes information about the weight, silver fineness, face value, and the year of issue, 2026.

Reverse is adorned with a coloured cameo-style portrait of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie gazing into each other’s eyes. Sophie is depicted wearing a masquerade mask, referencing the key event in their story. The composition is surrounded by a decorative frame and motifs inspired by the series, including a garden gazebo, masquerade mask, kite, slipper, and fan. The reverse also bears the inscriptions “LET ME LOVE YOU” and “BENEDICT AND SOPHIE,” as well as The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark.
