An Impressive Kilogram of Silver
The coin was struck in .925 fine silver, with selected elements additionally gilded. Its impressive weight of 1,000 grams and diameter of 90 mm emphasize its prestigious character. The piece has a face value of 10,000 CFA francs, a round shape, a reeded edge, and medal alignment. The Proof finish gives the surface an elegant, collector-oriented appearance.
The Euro in a Collector’s Edition
The theme of the issue directly refers to European monetary integration. Motifs of euro coins, stars, and national symbolism make this an interesting choice for collectors seeking Benin silver coins, Proof coins, and numismatic pieces connected with the history of the euro.
