The product is from the 'Egyptian Gods' series and depicts the god Anubis. In Egyptian mythology, he was a god associated with the world of the dead and mummification. In ancient Egypt he was depicted with a scepter and with the head of a jackal.

The coin was struck in Ag.999 sterling silver, weighing 2 troy ounces and measuring 50 mm in diameter, in proof standard. The excellent Pobjoy Mint is responsible for the limited issue of 200 pieces. The product is full legal tender in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
