Seychelles Queen Mother Gold 100 Rupees 1995 Proof
A collector's coin struck to celebrate the wedding of Prince Albert and Elizabeth Bowes, which took place on 26 April 1923. To commemorate the event, the famous mint The Royal MInt designed and created a 14 carat gold coin weighing 7.776g. In addition, the coin is sold with an exclusive case and a certificate of authenticity, which confirms the limited mintage of 5,000 pieces. The obverse of the coin is decorated with an illustration of the Seychelles National Coat of Arms, with the year of mintage and the inscription REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES around it.The reverse depicts a royal couple standing on a wedding cake , below is the year of the nuptials, above is the inscription: WEDDING: LADY ELIZABETH BOWES-LYON: THE DUKE OF YORK.
