Set of 2 Coins NBP/RAM: Walabia Bennetta Kangaroo / Eastern Grey Kangaroo 2 oz Silver 2013 Proof is an exceptional collector's set issued jointly by the National Bank of Poland and the Royal Australian Mint. The set includes two silver coins with a face value of 20 zł and 1 $ and a weight of 1 oz of pure silver each, in the highest Proof quality. The coins were issued on January 7, 2013, and are sold exclusively as part of the Kangaroo World set, which includes a joint certificate of authenticity from NBP and RAM and elegant packaging in a capsule and box.
The theme of the set is kangaroos – a symbol of Australia and a unique element of world fauna. The Australian coin features the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, the most recognizable species, while the Polish coin depicts the albino kangaroo, born in Poland on an agritourism farm near Szczecin. The coins combine precise craftsmanship, high-quality investment silver, and artistic selective colorization, giving the designs a unique character.
Obverse of the NBP coin shows the crowned eagle, the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA”, the year of issue 2013, and the face value.
Reverse of the NBP coin depicts the Walabia Bennetta Kangaroo, with “KANGUR” at the top and “WALABIA BENNETA” at the bottom, with selected colorized elements, such as leaves, highlighting details and the artistic character of the design.
Obverse of the RAM coin features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with her name, the inscription “AUSTRALIA”, the year of issue, and the face value.
Reverse of the RAM coin shows the colorized Eastern Grey Kangaroo, with weight and silver purity information at the top and the inscription “EASTERN GREY KANGAROO” at the bottom, combining collector and educational value of the set.
