The Canada: Moon Phases 8 Silver Coin Puzzle Set 2025 Reverse Proof – a unique set of eight coins inspired by the lunar cycle and its impact on nature. For the first time in Royal Canadian Mint history, selective black rhodium plating has been used to create a dramatic night effect, revealing the Moon’s phases and silhouettes of animals. Obverse of all coins features the effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, along with the face value.
The set includes seven puzzle-shaped coins and one central round coin. All are made of pure silver Ag.9999 with selective black rhodium plating. Each of the seven puzzle pieces reveals a different phase of the Moon and a nocturnal animal. The coins feature a proof finish and combine into a coherent composition. Limited mintage of only 1,100 sets worldwide, delivered with a certificate and an illustrated booklet describing the design elements.
