The 2018 Samoa Bullion Coin: Seahorse 1 Ounce Silver is the first piece to come from the collector-appreciated Samoan Seahorse series. The coin was struck in pure Ag.999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 39mm in diameter.The 2018 issue of the Seahorse, limited to 30,000 pieces, is the responsibility of the US Mint Scottsdale Mint. What's more, every Samoan Seahorse coin is guaranteed as to the legality, purity of the assay and origin of the bullion, and is full legal tender in the islands of Samoa. The obverse of the silver coin depicts the Samoa Islands coat of arms along with information on the issuing country, year of mintage and face value.
