There is probably not a person in the world who does not associate Daffy Duck, through his distinctive appearance as well as his sense of humour and often nervous disposition. The fictional character was invented by Tex Avery and Bob Clampett. The coin was struck in pure Au.999 gold, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32mm in diameter. The issue of the product is limited to 150 pieces. Furthermore, the coin is guaranteed by the Government of Samoa as to the legality, purity of the assay and origin of the bullion, and is full legal tender in the islands of Samoa. The product is housed in its original packaging. The Overt of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the Samoa Islands along with information on the issuing country, weight, proof, year of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse features an artistic image of a nervous Daffy Duck.
