There is probably not a person in the world who does not associate the rabbit who crunches carrots and repeats "What's up, Doc?". The fictional character was invented by Tex Avery and Chuck Jones in 1938. The coin was struck in pure Au.999 gold, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32mm in diameter. The issue of the product is limited to 150 pieces. The specimen is housed in its original packaging with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. Furthermore, the coin is guaranteed by the Government of Samoa as to the legality, purity of the assay and origin of the bullion and is a full legal tender in the islands of Samoa. The Overt of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the islands of Samoa along with information on the country of issue, weight, proof, year of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
