The coin was struck from pure Au.999 gold, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32 mm in diameter. The issue of the product is limited to 150 pieces. Furthermore, the coin is guaranteed by the Government of Samoa as to the legality, purity of the assay and origin of the bullion, and is full legal tender in the islands of Samoa. The product is housed in its original packaging.
The obverse of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the islands of Samoa along with information on the country of issue, weight, proof, year of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse features the iconic superhero character, Flash. In addition, the reverse side features information about the weight and purity of the gold and the inscription " THE FLASH".
