Rwanda: African Ounce - Leopard 1 oz Platinum 2024 is a unique product from the exclusive African Ounce collection created in 2008. This silver bullion coin is the eighteenth instalment of the collection and was struck for the fourth time in platinum. The piece showcases the leopard, which belongs to the cat family and ranks 4th among the world's largest cats. Higher ranked are the tiger, the lion and the jaguar.

The coin is minted in Pt.999 platinum, weighing one troy ounce, with a diameter of 40 mm. The Bayerisches Hauptmünzamt is responsible for issuing the entire collection, while it is worth mentioning that the entire collection is guaranteed by the government of Rwanda and each coin is official tender in the issuing country.

On the obverse is the emblem of Rwanda and the coin's face value.

The Rewers coin depicts a family of leopards. Moreover, a topographical outline of the African continent is depicted above the animals. The whole is completed with the inscription "AFRICAN OUNCE" and information about the weight, the bullion proof and the year of issue.
